I see there's nothing on wikipedia about Zanele Mbeki - surely there should be an article on South Africa's first lady. She's not in the media much, but there must be some things to say? Joziboy 26 Feb 2006, 16:54 UTC
We probably don't hear much about her because she does not have a profile inside the ANC unlike someone like Winnie Mdikizela-Mandela. But yes, I think it would be good to add an article.
Currently, it fails to mention one very important event, which is the FIFA world cup which was held in South Africa 2010. I believe Thabo Mbeki was instrumental bringing that wonderful event in Africa, and South Africa in particular. i have added section, but I was uncertain its location. What do you think?
Mbeki has continued with significant contributions to the discourse in South Africa in the period following his presidency and a lot more can be written about his political commentary pos-presidency BlueBellTree (talk) 04:35, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
